Current Events A former bike shop across from the Montgomery Street Post Office has been turned into Two Ton Inc, an architectural/industrial design team of Luke Mandel and Peter Benarcik. Two Ton designs buildings large and small as well as design and fabricate their own furniture. Their conversion of the space began the summer of 2004. For their own space, they designed all the cabinetry and desks, installed mini LCD screens into the walls, sunk the conference room into the basement and fabricated the stairs, and created a metal working shop for their own creations. Two Ton also periodically uses their space as a gallery. History None Yet. Add your AnecdotesThe information about each building grows as visitors let us know about their experiences. Did you or a member of your family work here? Did you grow up near it as a child? Let us know. All entries will be moderated and may be posted in an edited form. We will use your name unless you tell us otherwise. We will not make your email public. |
