|
Paul Lyons, a self-described ‘illustratist’ and has been a resident of Providence for the past ten years. Five of those years were spent at Eagle Square’s Fort Thunder. To make way for new development, Paul and other tenents have been displaced from the warehouse studios that they once called home. Currently, he is working from his apartment only a few blocks away. To see his home transformed into piles of rubble has left him, admittedly, a bit jaded. Still, Providence has inspired his work because there are lots of good mysteries and rumors, music, abandoned buildings to explore and bridges to climb. Paul is currently working on a monster manual “Monster Party” due out sometime in August. His past work includes the comics “You Have Been Wrong About Everything”, 40 Weekly Limited Edition “Monday Funnies”, and has contributed to several collective comic publishings including “Non”, “Monster” and “Bogus Dead”. |
