The Recordation Report for the Naval Construction Training Center Davisville (Camp Endicott) also contains a wealth of information, photographs, and reproductions of original architectural drawings for several different Quonset Huts. This report is available from HAER / Library of Congress. Though at this time the report is not yet posted on the web, it most likely will be in the future. 3. The Quonset Point Naval Air Station Collection at the Phillips Memorial Library, Providence College, contains numerous photographs, newspaper clippings, and internal publications from Quonset. Many items were collected in "scrapbooks" kept by the base's various departments. Many photographs and negatives are also available. This collection provides valuable information on day-to-day non-classified operations at Quonset, as well as the base's social and community activities.
4. The archives at Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation, Quonset Point Facility, is the depository for all remaining original maps and blueprints of many if not all of Quonset and Davisville's various buildings. Though we did not explore these holdings thoroughly, the collection is extensive. It is important that a permanent, archival storage facility be found for these resources once they are not of practical use to the RIEDC. As a first-hand record of the built environment at Quonset/Davisville, these documents should be available for future research and examination.
