Erik Carlson is a designer for the Cambridge, Mass.-based architecture firm Single Speed Design. He has completed architectural documentation projects for the City of Providence, Durkee, Brown, Viveiros & Werenfels Architects and the Providence Preservation Society. Erik is a native of Youngstown, Ohio, and a graduate of the University of Virginia. He has lived in Providence, R.I., for the past eight years and has spent many hours riding his bike at Quonset and Davisville.
Erica Carpenter is a graduate of Vassar College and holds an MFA from Brown University's Graduate Program in Creative Writing. She is a published writer, and the recipient of various literary awards and fellowships. She is a native of North Kingstown, R.I. and grew up within earshot of Quonset. Erica worked for a time with a company located in Bldg. 1, one of the Albert Kahn seaplane hangars at Quonset Point NAS.
